ABOUT
The Teen Advisory Board (TAB) is a group of 15-20 highly dedicated high school students who plan and lead events for teens in Palo Alto. To achieve their mission statement, TAB develops ideas, implements teen programs, and encourages teen involvement.
Some of the events and programs TAB has implemented in recent years include 'Tab's Haunted Escape Room', 'Socks & Sockets', 'Boba & Brushes', and 'Palopalooza'. TAB has also participated in the City of Palo Alto’s City-wide toy drive and MLK Jr. Day of Celebration. TAB is a great opportunity for high school students to conduct themselves as professionals and grants them the freedom to take on active leadership roles.

How to become a member
Submit a completed application via online form
Applications will be reviewed and interviews will be scheduled with enthusiastic and eligible candidates

Attend and pass an interview with the committee
Applicants are required to attend and pass an interview with the nominating committee

Applications, Letter of Recommendations, and Video
Applications, including a letter of recommendation, and introductory video, will be accepted NO LATER than the scheduled deadline. Any applications that are missing any of the following including an interview will not be considered for membership
Returning members are exempt from providing a Letter of Recommendation, and their previous term's contribution will be used instead.

I'm currently a senior at Castilleja and was a PIO last year (2022-23). I enjoy rock climbing, jewelry making, painting my nails, and reading. My favorite TAB event was International Night from last year!

Hi everyone! My name is Sera, and I’m a junior at Gunn High School. I enjoy spending time with friends and family, learning new languages, and singing.
