To be a part of PAYC is to be more than just a teen leadership committee. It's about getting involved with and giving back to the Palo Alto community. They work alongside local politicians in order to address concerns, improve policies, and inspire others to take charge in causes they believe in. Here is how PAYC spent their 2025-2026 school year!

Student Impact Forum | November 15th

One of the crucial missions of PAYC is to integrate with current events, raise awareness, and to align yourself with like-minded individuals in order to create and promote change. This event strives to elevate your knowledge of policy ideas and voice your opinion.

Final Study Cram Slam | December 8th-10th

PAYC put together a multi-day study session for students to be able to review their coursework and collaborate. Students utilized the provided learning aids, as well as enjoy non-academic activities to lighten the mood leading up to finals week.

Pancakes and Pickleball | March 28th

Palo Alto residents and local politicians enjoyed a warm Saturday at the Mitchell Park pickleball fields. Everyone brought their A-game and their appetites to come together and discuss civic discourse in their Palo Alto community.

Civic Impact Summit | April 25th

PAYC hosted an event geared towards high school clubs and nonprofits, celebrating and expanding their impact through networking. A variety of guest speakers were invited to lead seminars regarding civic engagement and teens' roles within their communities.
